Following a extensive audit, a page hierarchy has been fitted to pages across the site. This presents users with a consistent navigational prompt and gives the site a more structured feel. In addition, verified HTML and adherence to W3C accessibility guidelines help deliver UKSSDC content to users with special needs. By including specific meta-tags on each page, UKSSDC information and services should be easier to find using automated search engines.
The new website went live on 10th March 2005.
