Catalogues

These are a number of catalogues which contain information about the database ("metadata" in database terminology).

There are two AMPTE-IRM catalogues. They are the data file list of names and start and end data, and the list of field names used together with their respective meanings and units of measurement, if any.

• list of data files - periods covered, filenames (IRM_FILES)
• details of the fields in the data files - names, descriptions, units (IRM_FIELDS).
