In this format we divide the data into a series of morning and afternoon tables: a morning table contains data for 0000-1100 local mean time for every day of one month and an afternoon table contains data for 1200-2300 local mean time for every day of one month. Medians, count and inter-quartile range are shown at the bottom of each table. A header shows the year, the month, the station name, its latitude, longitude and local mean time (relative to UT), and the name of the characteristic selected. As in option 1, each characteristic value is represented by 5 characters in the international standard code described in report UAG-23A.
