Recording the signal during the eclipse

WB01547_.gif (1452 bytes)

With the equipment set up in exactly the same way as it was for the calibrations, start recording the radio station at least half an hour before totality, again noting the time at which you started recording.

We quite understand that those under clear skies will want to spend their time outside, actually viewing the eclipse, so make sure that the tape is long enough that it does not run out at the crucial moment!
